Soocheol Cho
Assistant Lab Director Emeritus
Soocheol Cho is a Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology at Indiana University, where he received his M.S. in Applied Statistics. His research agenda is driven by the overarching goal of attaining a comprehensive understanding of how cultural beliefs about gender, along with their persistence and changes, contribute to the (re)production of inequalities. In recent projects, he examines the ways in which gender, work, families, and public policies intersect to shape these disparities. In his work, he typically employs quantitative and experimental methods.
Nora Weber
Assistant Lab Director Emeritus
Nora Weber is a Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology at Indiana University. Her research focuses on education, workforce, and politics. She takes a multi-methods approach, including surveys, secondary data analysis, interviews, text analysis, and field and survey experiments to pursue her research agenda.
Annie Russian
Assistant Lab Director Emeritus
Anna Acosta Russian received her Ph.D. in Sociology and MS in Applied Statistics at Indiana University. Her research focuses on the intersection of gender, sexuality, race, and sport. She uses varied methodological approaches, including: in-depth qualitative interviews, secondary data analysis, and experiments.
Bianca Manago

Bianca Manago received her Ph.D. in Sociology and MS in Applied Statistics from Indiana University. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Vanderbilt University. Her research addresses questions at the intersection of medical sociology, inequality, and social psychology.
Trenton Mize
Norman Triplett Distinguished Assistant Lab Director Emeritus
Trenton Mize received his Ph.D. in Sociology and MS in Applied Statistics from Indiana University. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Purdue University. His research focuses on social psychology and applied statistics, including computational social science and experimental methods.
